A coordinated family of thermally broken aluminium windows, doors and framing for higher energy-performance projects.
ThermAFrame uses a reinforced polyamide thermal break to reduce direct heat transfer through the aluminium frame. The range includes different frame depths and glazing formats for doors, windows and commercial framing.
Performance Windows custom fabricates each unit. Dimensions, finish, glass, screens, hardware and installation details are confirmed through the quotation and specification process.
Identify whether the project needs fixed glazing, an opening window, a sliding door or another supported configuration. Frame depth, glass position and adjoining systems influence the appropriate choice. A coordinated schedule helps maintain the intended appearance while allowing different openings to meet their own requirements.
A thermal break reduces the direct heat-transfer path through aluminium, but the complete assembly still needs the right glass and seals. Compare the proposed system’s whole-window values with the energy assessment. Review sizes, thresholds, hardware and site exposure before approving the final frame-and-glass specification.
