Plan large glazing around the room

Select the fixed and moving panel layout with furniture, views and everyday circulation in mind. The overall frame width is not the same as the usable opening. Discuss screening and operating effort, and provide the project’s energy requirements so glass and frame choices can be compared together.

Resolve the inside-to-outside junction

Share finished floor levels, external paving or decking and drainage details. Thermal performance does not remove the need for sound weather detailing. Confirm the proposed sill, locks, panel sizes and installation access with the project team before the door configuration is approved.
